THE FOOD

The Fulton Table is not a room rental. Every event is built around chef driven food, thoughtful service, and a complete hospitality experience, with the table, menu, beverage service, and guest flow planned together from the beginning.

Chef Driven Menus

Seasonal menus are personally prepared by Chef Mark and Chef Kieran and shaped around the style, timing, and purpose of each gathering. We do not offer standard catering packages or mass prepared event food. Every menu is created with care, because to us, the food matters just as much as the people gathered around the table.

Bar & Beverage Service

Events may include cocktails, wine, beer, signature cocktails and non alcoholic options based on the format and guest experience. We are BYOB and work with you on ordering items for your event.

Dedicated Hospitality Team

Our dedicated staff has worked with us for many years, and we do not outsource our service team like some venues may do. Your guests are cared for by people who know our standards, know the space, and work together beautifully.

Dietary restrictions are always welcome. Our chefs customize menus for allergies, preferences, and special dietary needs so every guest is cared for and every dish feels flavorful, thoughtful, and connected to the full event experience.

A Set Table

Tables can be set simply with our antique farmhouse tables and benches or dressed up with round tables, linens, candles, upgraded place settings, and other details selected to support the feeling of the event.

THE SPACE

With over 3,000 square feet, it’s a warm, flexible Fulton Market setting for seated dinners, cocktail style gatherings, meetings, wedding weekend events, and private celebrations.

Main Dining Room

The main dining room is bright and light filled during the day, then transitions into a warmer evening environment shaped by candlelight, our signature overhead lamps, exceptional food, and gatherings centered around the table.

The Loft

The upstairs loft offers a more relaxed space for cocktails, conversation, lounge seating, and music, creating a natural transition and gathering point throughout the event experience.

The Suite & Lounge

Private secondary spaces are available for wedding parties, hosts, speakers, clients, or guests who need a quiet place to arrive, prepare, gather, or step away during the event. The Suite includes an ensuite bathroom, perfect for getting ready for your event.

Guest Comfort

Five powder rooms, a private coat room, and additional storage areas are available throughout the space. The entry hallway can also be configured as a gift area, welcome moment, or extra lounge space before guests enter the main room.

Professional Culinary Kitchen

The Fulton Table includes a professional culinary kitchen with generous prep space, allowing food to be prepared fresh on site and served at the right moment. We also have ample refrigeration and freezer space for special desserts, custom wedding cakes, or other personal items for your event.

Private Entrance

Guests arrive through a private entrance adjacent to our parking lot, avoiding the crowds, noise, and shared hotel traffic often found in traditional event venues.

THE CHEFS

The Fulton Table is led by Chefs Mark Chmielewski and Kieran Ronayne, who also co-own Toque Boutique Catering, a private chef and event catering company serving dinners, parties, and celebrations throughout Chicagoland. Their approach brings restaurant level food, composed service, and full event hospitality together in one private setting

Chef Mark Chmielewski
Chef Mark began his culinary career more than thirty years ago as a baker in Connecticut, where he grew up in a family centered around the kitchen. He trained at The Culinary Institute of America, worked in respected kitchens in New York City, and later brought his experience to Chicago, where he led Wolfgang Puck Catering at the Museum of Contemporary Art. His career has taken him across Asia, Europe, Mexico, Hawaii, and throughout the United States, shaping a thoughtful approach to food, service, and hospitality. At The Fulton Table, Chef Mark brings deep catering experience to events ranging from grand celebrations to intimate private dinners.

Chef Kieran Ronayne
Chef Kieran’s culinary foundation began at home, cooking with his mother Nadine, whose father was a chef. After studying at Chicago’s Cooking and Hospitality Institute, he joined the opening team at Green Dolphin Street under Chef Victor Gechrit, later helped lead the catering division kitchen at Food For Thought as Executive Sous Chef, and went on to Wolfgang Puck at the Museum of Contemporary Art, where he met Chef Mark Chmielewski. His travels have taken him from France to the Mekong Delta, Casablanca, and Thailand, bringing curiosity, global perspective, and deep respect for food to every menu at The Fulton Table and Toque Boutique Catering.
